OUTDOOR ... earned All-MIAC Honorable Mention in the heptathlon (fourth), 400 hurdles (fourth), triple jump (sixth) and 1,600-meter relay (sixth) ... ran the eighth-best 200 in school history (25.98) ... recorded the third-best 400 hurdle time in school history and finished ranked fourth in the MIAC (64.51) ... also recorded the seventh-best triple jump and was ranked sixth in the MIAC (10.83m) and the third-best heptathlon score in CSB history and ranked fourth in the MIAC (4,116).
High School: A 2014 graduate of Proctor High School, Sundstrom participated in track and field for six years, soccer for four, basketball for three and cross country and hockey for one. She qualified for the state meet three straight years in track and was the section champion in the triple jump and 300-meter hurdles back-to-back years. She set school records in the 300 hurdles and the 800 relay. Sundstrom earned all-conference honors in track and soccer, and was named captain of both teams.
Personal: Sundstrom is the daughter of Michelle and Mark Sundstrom and she has two brothers, Jared and Nick, and a sister, Kim. She enjoys running, soccer and art, and is majoring in psychology with minors in philosophy and art at CSB|SJU.
