Biography
2016: INDOOR ... Won the 5K at the Cobber duals and the 3K at the CSB|SJU Invite ... OUTDOOR ... did not compete.
2015: First season ... INDOOR ... earned All-MIAC Honorable Mention after taking fourth in the 5K ... also qualified in the 3K and finished 11th ... won the 5K at the Lake Superior Challenge and the 3K at the CSB|SJU Invite ... ran the fifth-best 3K in school history (10:32.5) and the third-best 5,000 in school history, which was also a career-best (18:14.25) ... was ranked fifth in the MIAC in the 5K at the end of the season ... OUTDOOR ... earned All-MIAC honors after taking third in the 10K at the MIAC Outdoor Championships ... just missed All-MIAC honors after taking seventh in the 5K ... ran the second-best 10K in school history and finished the year ranked fifth in the MIAC ... also ran the eighth-best 5K in CSB history ... ran a career-best 4:56.93 in the 1,500 ... won the 5K at the CSB|SJU Invite and the 10K at the Janis Rider Invite.
High School: A 2014 graduate of Big Lake High School, Rasmussen was coached by Gail Grieme. She participated in cross country (four years) and track and field (two years) during her career. She was All-Conference and All-Academic for four consecutive years.
Personal: Rasmussen is the daughter of Heather and Mike Rasmussen of Big Lake, Minn. She enjoys running, reading, drinking coffee, relaxing, watching movies and exercising. She is majoring in biology.
