2015: Winner of the team's Sportsmanship Award at the end of the season ... OUTDOOR ... ended her career with a MIAC title and a school record as part of the 3,200-meter relay team at the MIAC Championships ...also qualified in the 1,500 ... finished the year ranked eighth in the MIAC in the 1,500 ... won the 1,500 at the Manitou Classic ... ran a career-best 1:01.11 in the 400 ... INDOOR ... ran the second-fastest mile in school history and ranked eighth in the MIAC with a time of 5:11.19 ... took fifth and earned All-MIAC Honorable Mention in the mile at the conference indoor championships ... just missed All-MIAC honors after finishing seventh in the 1,000 ... part of the MIAC Championship distance medley relay team ... also ran on the Blazers' 1,600-meter relay squad at the conference indoor meet.
2014: OUTDOOR ... Placed 15th overall in the country with a 4:39.15 1,500m time at the NCAA Outdoor Championships ... earned All-MIAC honors in the 1,500 after taking second at the MIAC Outdoor Championships ... named All-MIAC Honorable Mention in the 4x800 ... Academic All-MIAC ... ran a school-record 4:35.99 in the 1,500m ... ran the ninth-best 800 in school history in 2:19.12 ... INDOOR ... Went to the NCAA Championship meet as part of the Blazer DMR team that finished 12th in the country ... Academic All-MIAC ... named All-MIAC Honorable Mention twice, once with a fourth-place finish in the 1000m, and once as part of the 4x400 team that finished fourth at the MIAC Championships ... also qualified in the 800 ... ran four career-best times; 5:12.18 in the mile, 2:58.62 in the 1000m, 2:17.82 in the 800m, and 1:41 in the 600m ... her 800 time is fourth-best in CSB history and 1,000 time is second in Blazer indoor history.
2013: Sophomore season … OUTDOOR … Academic All-MIAC … two-time All-MIAC Honorable Mention after a third place finish in the 4x800-meter (9:24.38) and a fourth-place finish in the 1500-meter (4:54.07) … end of the season MIAC rankings included: third in the 3000-meter (10:43.41) … team-best 1500-meter time if 4:47.35 on the season … ran the seventh-best 3,000 in school history in 10:43.41 ... INDOOR … Academic All-MIAC … All-MIAC Honorable Mention after a fourth place finish in the Distance Medley Relay with a 12:44.26 ... also qualified in the 1,000.
2012: OUTDOOR: In the Hamline meet, Gammon-Deering placed eighth in the 800 meter race ... also placed third in the 4x800 relay team ... earned All-MIAC Honorable Mention as part of the third-place 3,200-meter relay ... also qualified in the 1,500 and took 11th ... INDOOR ... qualified for the MIAC Indoor Championships in the mile ... finished 11th.
High School: A 2011 graduate of Little Falls High School, Gammon-Deering was coached by Jacki Devine. She participated in cross country (six years), Nordic skiing (four years), track and field (four years) and gymnastics (one year) during her athletic career at Little Falls. She was All-State in cross country and Nordic skiing and All-Conference in cross country, nordic skiing and track. She holds a school record in the 3200 meter run and was All-Area in track.
Personal: Gammon-Deering is the daughter of LuAnn Gammon and Jeff Deering of Little Falls, Minn. She enjoys running, skiing, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends. She is majoring in elementary education.
