2016: Played in 31 games as a sophomore ... batted .246 ... finished with 16 hits, including six doubles and one triple ... sent in 10 runs ... went 3-for-4 on stolen base attempts ... recorded 55 putouts and 56 assists from the infield ... earned Academic All-MIAC honors.

2015: Named the team's Most Improved Player at the end of her first season ... finished seventh on the team with a .297 batting average ... led the team with four home runs ... finished second with nine doubles ... finished with 60 putouts and a team-high 102 assists from the infield ... recorded a .900 fielding percentage ... hit a walkoff RBI double in the bottom of the seventh inning to help CSB defeat No. 12 St. Thomas 2-1 on March 30.

High School: Gigstad attended Burnsville Senior High School. She participated in softball for five years and basketball for two years. She was a softball all-conference honorable mention selection in 2013. During her final season, Gigstad was the captain of the softball team, the Most Valuable Player, an all-state honorable mention pick and received all-conference honors.

Personal: Gigstad is the daughter of Theresa and Lynn Gigstad. She was one brother, Zach and a sister, Sarah. She enjoys reading, music, and spending time with friends. Gigstad is a nursing major at CSB|SJU.
