Biography
2012: Eckrich had major success during her final track season. In the 400 meter dash, she placed first, second, and seventh. Her 4x400 relay team took first, followed by a fifth place finish at the MIAC Indoor Championship. In the 200 meter dash, she placed second twice and was also fourth place in the 600 meter. She was fourth in the MIAC Outdoor Championship for the triple jump. Eckrich was MIAC Academic All-Conference, as well as being selected for the 2012 All-MIAC Sportsmanship team.
High School: A 2008 graduate of Spearfish High School, Eckrich was coached by Aarron Nida… participated in track and field (4 years) and soccer (5 years) during her athletic career at Spearfish… team captain for track… voted team mvp for track.
Personal: Daughter of Sheila and Jerry Eckrich of Spearfish, SD… uncles and brother attended SJU… enjoys boating, snowboarding and playing games… majoring in Nutrition with a minor in Business.
