High School: A 2006 graduate of Stillwater High School, Chapman was coached by Shelly Christensen and Dawn Podolske ... participated in cross country and track and field for four years each during her athletic career at Stillwater ... 2005 junior varsity conference champion for cross country ... voted track and field team captain her senior year ... cross country team placed 6th at the state meet.

Personal: Daughter of Gail and Ned Chapman of Stillwater, MN... has two brothers, one who graduated from SJU in 2007... enjoys working, reading, running and spending time with family and friends... majoring in English with a minor in secondary education/coaching.

What is your proudest moment of your career in cross country?
"My proudest moment is helping to produce five relay records and one  individual record during my last three seasons of indoor and outdoor track."

What do you like about being a collegiate student-athlete? 
"Being a collegiate student-athlete has helped me to become a strong, passionate, driven young woman. My goals and dreams and have become a reality with the help of coach Robin, my family, friends and especially my teammates. Without any of them, my dreams would stay just that, dreams."
