High School: A 2007 graduate of Lincoln High School, Kortan was coached by Mark Greeno… participated in track and field (3 years), cross country (3 years) and gymnastics (4 years) during her athletic career at Lincoln… captain for track and gymnastics teams.
Personal: Daughter of Peggy and Daniel Kortan of Sioux Falls, SD… enjoys running, biking and the outdoors… majoring in Spanish with a minor in political science.
What is your proudest moment of your career?
"The conference track meet last season."
What do you like about being a collegiate student-athlete?
"My teammates, the competition with other schools and the good shape that I’m able to stay in."
