Biography
2008-09: Coming off injury showed much improvement for the Blazers...appeared in 12 games for the team.
High School: A 2008 graduate of Apple Valley High School, Hansen was coached by Chuck Scanlon… participated in hockey (4 years), lacrosse (1 year) and swimming (2 years) during her athletic career at Apple Valley… all-state academic in hockey… all-conference honors for two years… interscholastic academic honors… all-conference honorable mention in lacrosse… also voted most improved in lacrosse.
Personal: Daughter of Karin and Neil Hansen of Apple Valley, MN… enjoys reading, scrapbooking, orchestra, reading the newspaper, church and babysitting… majoring in Political Science with a minor in History/Communication.
What do you like about being/anticipate about being a student-athlete? “Being a student-athlete is very rewarding because of the friendships you make with your teammates that cross over away from the sport and into your everyday life.”
"Points of Pride" What Have You Accomplished in the Sport of Ice Hockey? “I was the first junior to go All-Conference at my high school in about 6 years.”
