Biography

2022: OUTDOOR: Qualified for the MIAC Championships in the 100 and 200 and with the 400 relay team ... earned All-MIAC Honorable Mention after taking sixth in the 100 ... also finished second and earned All-MIAC Honorable Mention with the 400 relay team ... took 12th in the 200 ... ran a career-best 100 time of 12.89 seconds at the conference meet ... recorded four top-10 finishes ... INDOOR: qualified for the MIAC Championships in the 55, 200 and with the 1,600 relay team ... finished 18th in the 200, 19th in the 55 and 10th with the relay team ... recorded four individual top-10 finishes.

2021: OUTDOOR: Qualified for the MIAC Championships in the 100 and 200 ... finished 22nd in the 100 and 24th in the 200 ... recorded three top-five individual finishes ... part of two winning 400 relay teams ... INDOOR: qualified for the Wartburg Elite Meet with the 4x400 relay team and finished ninth ... recorded four individual top-five finishes, including a pair of runner-up finishes.

2020: OUTDOOR: The 2020 outdoor season was canceled by the NCAA on March 13 due to the COVID19 pandemic ... INDOOR: qualified for the MIAC Championships in the 200 and 400 ... finished 10th in the 400 and 14th in the 200 ... recorded career-best times in both events ... earned All-MIAC Honorable Mention with the fourth-place 4x400-meter relay team ... also took seventh with the 4x200-meter relay team ... recorded eight individual top-10 finishes.

High School: Johnson is a 2019 graduate of Spectrum High School. There she was in track & field for four years and cross country for one year. In track & field, she was all-conference (2017-19), team captain (2019) and broke seven school records in the 100, 200 and 400-meter dashes and all relays. She competed in the state meet in the 4x800 relay (2018), competed in the state 200 and 4x400 and placed seventh in the 200 (2019). Her proudest moment was placing seventh at state in the 200 her senior year.

Personal: Hailey is the daughter of Eric and Jennifer Johnson. She has one brother, Riley.  Her hobbies are skiing, spending time on the lake, and running. She is undecided on a major but is looking forward to being a student-athlete at CSB/SJU.
