Biography

2020-21: Part of the eighth-best 200 free relay team in program history at the St. Kate's Quad ... competed in three meets as a senior in a COVID-shortened season ... recorded two individual top-five finishes, including fifth in the 50 free at the St. Kate's quad.

2019-20: Qualified for the MIAC Championships in the 50 and 100 free and 100 backstroke ... finished 17th in the 50 free and 20th in both the 100 free and backstroke ... swam a career-best 100 free time at the conference meet ... also part of the 200 freestyle relay team that swam the 10th-best time in CSB history ... recorded a trio of top-five finishes as a junior.

2018-19: Qualified for the MIAC Championships in the 50 and 100 free and 100 backstroke ... took 12th in the 50 free, 15th in the 100 free and 20th in the 100 backstroke ... recorded career-best times in all three events at the conference championships ... also part of the 200 medley relay team that swam the fifth-best time in program history ... won the 50 free at the Roger Ahlman Invite ... finished the year with eight top-five finishes.

2017-18: Qualified for the MIAC Championships in the 50 and 100 free and 100 back ... finished top 20 in all three ... also took fourth with the 200 freestyle relay team ... finished top-five in four events throughout the year ...enjoyed two second-place finishes: the 50 free at the Roger Ahlman Invitational and the 50 free in a dual against Carleton.

High School: A 2017 graduate of Cretin-Derham Hall, Allyson participated in swimming for five years and golf for one year. She earned all-conference honorable mention in the 50 free as an eighth grader, and all-conference accolades in the 50 free as a sophomore and junior. As a junior in 2015, she was part of a relay that finished top eight in the state. Allyson also earned one varsity letter in golf.

Personal: Allyson is the daughter of Roz and Bill Allyson, and she has one brother, Riley. She also plays the violin in the pit orchestra, and is a chemistry major with an evironmental concentration with psychology and biology minors.
