College of Saint Benedict

2019: Competed in seven races as a first year ... recorded a career-best 6k time of 25:23.1 at the Eau Claire Invite as well as a career-best 5k time of 21:37 at the Fall Finale where she finished 15th ... also finished in the top 40 at two other races.

High School: Meilander is a 2019 graduate of Dowling Catholic High School where participated in basketball for two years and cross country and track & field for four years. She was a four-year varsity letter winner, four-year state qualifier, four-year Drake Relays qualifier; cross-country captain (2019), and she is part of the school’s record-holding 4x400 team. She was also in National Honor Society, Presidential Honor Roll for four years, and earned a CIML Academic Recognition. The proudest moments of her career was her first place finish at the Drake Relays in the 4x800 her sophomore year and breaking her school’s 4x400 record her senior year. She is looking forward to being a CSB athlete because she likes to be able to compete while having fun, working hard, setting goals, and meeting new people.

Personal: Jane is the daughter Matt and Julie Meilander. She has a brother, Will, and a sister, Morgan. Her parents both went to CSB/SJU and her sister is currently attending. Her hobbies are boating, being outdoors, biking, fostering dogs, and watching sports. She is currently undecided on a major. Also competes on the CSB track and field team.
