2022:
Saw time in 26 games as a senior and started in 11, mostly at outfield ... went 3-for-3 with a double in a Game 2 win at St. Kate's ... went a career-best 9-for-9 on stolen-base attempts.

2021: Earned All-MIAC First Team honors ... played in 27 games and started 26 ... batted .386 in MIAC play and .311 overall ... finished with 23 total hits, including six doubles and two triples ... sent in 11 RBIs ... had a .545 slugging percentage in MIAC play ... went 8-for-8 on stolen base attempts.

2020: Played in 11 of the team's 13 games before the season was canceled due to the COVID19 pandemic ... finished with nine hits, including two against both Wartburg and Berry ... doubled twice against Berry ... recorded a .971 fielding percentage with 61 putouts and seven assists from behind the plate ... earned Academic All-MIAC honors.

2019: Earned All-MIAC First Team honors as a first year ... started 22 games and saw playing time in 31 ... saw time at catcher, right field, designated player and pinch hitter ... batted .338 ... went 5-for-5 with seven RBIs and a three-run homer in her MIAC debut against St. Kate's ... finished fourth on the team with a .494 slugging percentage ... finished the year with 26 hits and 18 RBIs ... went 6-for-6 on stolen-base attempts.

High School: Burns is a 2018 graduate from Providence Academy who calls Saint Louis Park, Minn., home. There she played varsity soccer for four years, varsity basketball for three years, and varsity softball for four years. She earned all-section softball honors in 2017 and all-conference in 2015, and was named the team’s defensive and offensive players of the year once. She won the school’s Athena Award. Burns also played with Clutch Hitters and the Minnesota A’s. Her proudest moment was scoring a Hat-trick her senior night game for soccer.
 
Personal: Mo is the daughter of Tom and Carolyn Burns. She has five siblings, Clare, Michael, Brigid, Elizabeth, and Patrick. She is a nursing major at CSB/SJU and is also a part of ROTC. Her hobbies are chamber choir and violin. She is excited to play for CSB because she likes being able to “have it all.” Maureen likes how at CSB, you can participate in a bunch of different activities.
