High School: Nelson is a 2016 graduate of Century High School where she played softball for four years, basketball for two and volleyball for one. She earned four varsity softball letters and helped her team win the North Dakota State Softball Tournament as a senior in 2016.
Personal: Nelson is the daughter of Lorraine and Troy Nelson and she has one sister, Carly. She enjoys sports, being with friends and fishing, and plans to major in nursing.
