Drew Buslee (Eagan, Minn.) of the College of Saint Benedict flag football team has been named The House / St. Cloud Orthopedic CSB Athlete of the Week after a standout performance at the Northwestern-St. Paul Jamboree.

Buslee fueled the Bennies to a 2-1 record over the weekend, helping the team finish both jamborees at 5-1 overall. The strong showing secured CSB one of the top seeds in the Midwest Women's Flag Football League Championship on April 25 at TCO Field in Eagan.
Over the weekend, Buslee hauled in 17 receptions for 199 yards and three touchdowns, while also adding an extra point on offense. Defensively, she recorded five pass breakups, three interceptions and returned one for a touchdown.
Through six games, Buslee has totaled 25 receptions for 292 yards and seven touchdowns, along with four extra points. She has also made a major impact defensively with seven pass breakups, five interceptions and two defensive touchdowns.
She contributed to a 20-13 win over UW-Stout with a touchdown catch and played a key role in a 40-0 shutout of Northwestern-St. Paul, recording a receiving touchdown and an interception return for a score. Buslee also added a touchdown reception in a narrow 27-25 loss to Augustana.
During the two jamborees, Buslee has played a key role as Saint Benedict has averaged 27.2 points per game while allowing just 10.5. The Bennies have scored at least 20 points in five of six contests and have held four opponents to seven points or fewer.
