CSB Rugby Fifth in NCR National Rankings

WILMINGTON, Del. – The College of Saint Benedict rugby team is ranked fifth in Division III in the most recent National College Rugby Coaches' Poll. 

The Bennies (3-1 overall) lead the DIII Northern Lights Conference after a lopsided 93-7 victory over Bemidji State on Oct. 3. 

CSB is averaging 42.3 points per game with another signature win over then-Division II No. 17 North Dakota State (22-19 on Sept. 26). The Bennies' only loss came to then-DII No. 20 UW-La Crosse.

A total of 23 players are currently eligible to compete for CSB rugby. 

The Bennies host No. 12 University of North Dakota this weekend (Oct. 17) for a noon match in St. Joseph.
