Netland and Kraft have strong showing at Hamline Diving Invite

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The College of Saint Benedict swim and dive team kicked off the 2025-26 season with a strong showing at the Hamline Diving Invite on Saturday (Oct. 11), led by strong performances from sophomore Emma Netland and junior Sadie Kraft.

Netland made an immediate impact in the season opener, capturing first place in the 1-meter, 6-dive competition. Her score of 146.50 outpaced Augsburg's Katie Brown, who finished with 135.80 points. It was a solid start to the year for the sophomore, who also competed in the 3-meter, 6-dive event, compiling a score of 129.10 for fourth place.

In the 3-meter event, Kraft placed eighth with a score of 81.40. She also competed in the 1-meter, 11-dive competition, recording a score of 167.20 to finish 11th overall.

Next for the CSB swim and dive team will be CSB/SJU Fall Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 18, at the Warner Palaestra Pool in Collegeville.
