ST. JOSEPH, Minn. – Due to incoming inclement weather, the nonconference softball doubleheader between No. 14 College of Saint Benedict and No. 23 Coe College on Saturday (March 25) in Cedar Rapids, Iowa., has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.

However, CSB is still scheduled to play this weekend as the nonconference doubleheader between Wartburg and Saint Ben's in Waverly, Iowa, on Sunday, March 26 at noon/2 p.m., remains on the schedule. For Saint Ben's full schedule, click here.

CSB, which has opened the season with a 9-1 record, has been ranked No. 14 by the NFCA for the second straight week. Through 10 games, the Bennies have a team earned run average of 1.78 (2^nd, MIAC) with a .96 WHIP, 66 strikeouts, and opponents are hitting just .205 (1^st, MIAC). On offense, the Bennies have a .293 average, five home runs, 13 doubles, 80 hits, .403 slugging and .374 on-base percentage. In addition, the Bennies have a .985 fielding percentage which leads the MIAC.
