Thanks to a forecast that looks more like December than mid-April, the College of Saint Benedict softball team went from having three big games on its schedule this week to none.

Earlier this week games against Bethel and UW-Eau Claire were either postponed or canceled, and Friday afternoon it was decided that Saturday's MIAC doubleheader against Concordia is also postponed. A new date for the conference contest has yet to be determined.

Another postponement sets the Bennies up for a busy last two weeks of the regular season. Next week alone, CSB plays Macalester Tuesday, April 19 at home, then is on the road Thursday at St. Olaf, Saturday at St. Kate's and Sunday at Hamline.
