About the Auggies
The Auggies are 10-10-2 overall, 6-6-2 in MIAC play heading into the final weekend of the regular season. They swept No. 9 Adrian earlier this season, but the last series they played was against Saint Mary's last weekend which they dropped both games to the Cardinals. Game one the Auggies lost 3-1 and then game two they dropped a close 2-1 loss. Kensie Malone leads the Auggies in goals (11), assists (12) and points (21).

Last Meeting
The last time the Bennies and the Auggies met was March of 2021 at the MAC. The Bennies would not be able to even it up in the third period and the Auggies would take the win 3-2 in the close match up. Corrine Brown scored one goal with assists from Julia Pias and Annika Brodt and goalie Maggie Gilchrist stopped 22 of 25 shots in the loss.

The Storyline
The Bennies' (10-9-1 overall, 6-5-1 MIAC) 10 wins so far this season marks just the seventh time in program history the team has reached double-digit wins. This weekend's series will determine their placement in the all-comers tournament, which the Bennies currently sit in fifth and Augsburg right behind in sixth. Both teams are jockeying for seeding as the tournament starts next week.

Who to Watch
Senior Annika Brodt scored two goals in game two against St. Olaf last weekend to secure the team's series split. Brodt now leads the team in goals with seven total. First-year Jenna Timm added two assists against St. Olaf to bring her team-high assist numbers to 11 and team-high points total to 16. First-year goalie Kate Moffatt earned her third win in net against St. Olaf and now boasts a 1.00 goals-against average, 53 saves, and a .946 save percentage.
