ST. PAUL, Minn. – Last weekend, Mallory Jarvi recorded the second-best three-meter dive score in the history of the College of Saint Benedict swim and dive program.

Saturday afternoon, Jarvi improved on that mark on the three-meter board, and moved up into second on the one-meter board as well.

Jarvi won both the one- and three-meter diving competitions to lead CSB in a dual against St. Thomas. Her one-meter score of 253.56 is a 20-points personal best, and is 11 points away from the school record of 264.60, set in 1997 by Katie Macy. She also improved on her recent three-meter personal best, finishing with a score of 256.94.

Jarvi's wins marked two of five for Saint Benedict, which fell 201-99 to the Tommies in St. Paul. Mikayla Von Wahlde also picked up two wins and Ashley Groebner had one. CSB also had one other mark in the top 10 in program history.

"The team has been fighting injury and illness for a few weeks and still was able to get some great times and scores," head coach Dan Eckberg said. "Mallory continues to dominate diving, and we hope to see that continue."

Jarvi wasn't the only diver in the top 10 in school history Saturday. First year Kylie Egger finished third on the one-meter board with a mark of 215.92 – the seventh-best score in school history.

Von Wahlde won both the 100 and 200 backstroke races. She finished the 100 in 1:00.28 and the 200 in 2:10.60. Groebner won the 100 breaststroke in 1:09.50 and Morgan Murphy finished fifth in 1:16.77. Groebner also took second in the 200 breaststroke (2:35.03) and third in the 400 IM in 5:08.95.

Morgan Gerhardt finished second in the 1,650 free in 19:16.13, and Claudia Mahoney came in second in the 100 free in 58.28 seconds. Ana Birklid finished third in the 200 free (2:03.92) and fifth in the 500 free (5:32.89), and Meghan Kratz took fifth in the 200 free in 2:07.60.
