INDIANOLA, Iowa - After several game delays and new start times, officials have officially canceled the College of Saint Benedict softball team's doubleheader against Simpson, scheduled for Saturday afternoon in Indianola, Iowa.

Rain swept through the area in the afternoon, forcing officials to push back the original 4 p.m. start time, and poor field conditions resulted in the nonconference doubleheader being canceled completely.

Saint Benedict (11-3) is scheduled to be back in action Sunday, March 25, when it takes on No. 22 Central College in a pair of games starting at noon in Pella, Iowa.
