ST. JOSEPH, Minn. –The College of Saint Benedict hockey team is back in action this Friday and Saturday, Feb. 10-11, when it takes on Saint Mary's University in a pair of MIAC games. The two teams play at 7 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday, and both games will be played in Winona, Minn.
About St. Mary's
Saint Mary's is 5-14-2 overall and 2-10-2 and in ninth in the MIAC heading into this weekend. The Cardinals are coming into this game after getting shutout twice last weekend against Gustavus. Jamie Henderson leads the team with 14 points and 9 goals. Anya Hafiz and Jane Hannula both have six goals this season. Ashley Corcoran leads the Cardinals in net with 359 saves and a .916 save percentage in 12 appearances.
Last Year
CSB played the Cardinals twice last season. On Feb. 12 in St. Cloud, CSB lost 3-1. In St. Cloud on Feb. 13, CSB lost 3-0.
Stephanie Kirk had the lone goal for the Blazers assisted by
Allison Kirk.
Angel Hillstrom and
Dory Johnson made 39 saves for CSB in the series.

Senior
Elli Marvin is first in the MIAC with 25 points and second in goals with 14.
Brigette Miller has eight assists and eight goals.
Julia Carle is second in the league with 457 saves this season, and fourth in the MIAC with a .923 save percentage in 15 games played.
The Storyline
CSB comes into the weekend after recording its first MIAC win of the year last weekend against St. Catherine. The Cardinals are in ninth and have to win out for a chance at the conference playoffs, and Saint Benedict is looking to pick up some wins to get its season back on track. CSB returns home Feb. 18 for its final home game of the season against Augsburg College at 3 p.m.
