ST. JOSEPH, Minn. – The College of Saint Benedict softball team wraps up the regular season Saturday, April 30, when it travels to St. Paul to take on No. 17 St. Kate's.
With one doubleheader left in the regular season, the Blazers are 21-17 overall and 9-11 and in sixth place in the MIAC. The top for teams make the league's conference tournament, which is May 6-8.
About the Wildcats: Heading into the weekend, St. Kate's has three doubleheaders left in the MIAC. The Wildcats are 25-4 as of Friday and 12-4 and in second in the MIAC. They are also ranked 17
th nationally. Senior Robyn Rohr leads the MIAC with a .490 batting average, and she is second with 36 RBIs and 50 hits. Pitcher Krista Flugstad is fourth in the MIAC with 12 wins, and fellow pitcher Megan Lindenfelser is fifth in the league with 108 strikeouts.
Last Year: St. Kate's swept CSB in a doubleheader last season in St. Paul. The Wildcats won the first game 7-3 and the second 10-0 in five innings.

The Storyline: The Wildcats are near the top of the MIAC, and head into the final weekend of the regular season looking to hold onto that spot and stay in the top four. Kate Deming moved up to first in the MIAC with 52 hits after CSB's sweep of Carleton Wednesday.
Megan Toninato is tied for second with 50 hits, and
Sara Wennerstrand is fifth in the MIAC with 46 hits. She also leads the league with 44 RBIs.
Last Time Out: The Blazers wrapped up their home schedule with a sweep of Carleton Wednesday. The Blazers won the first game 4-3 and the second 10-2 in six innings.
Emilie Antony had a three-run homer in the second game. She finished the game 2-for-2 with four RBIs.
