About the Tommies:

St. Thomas was picked to win the MIAC, and ten games into the season they look primed to do that. Their only conference loss came on the road against Gustavus, who was ranked No. 9 in the country at the time. They have won seven straight games, and have scored more goals than anyone else in the MIAC this year.

Storyline:

The Blazers are undoubtedly in the middle of their toughest stretch of the season. Although the Tommies are firing on all cylinders this season, the Blazers have proved they are capable of beating good times. In order to upset the first-place Tommies, the Blazers will need to get on the board first and find a way to slow down the prolific Tommie offense.

Last Year:

A year ago, the Blazers and Tommies each won home games to split the season series. The Blazers took the first game, defeating the Tommies by a 5-3 score. Five different players scored in that game, including Siri Berg-Moberg, Aly Hoffman, and Hannah Esselman. Kacee Medved had two assists. On Saturday, the Tommies handed the Blazers a loss in St. Paul by a 1-3 score. Kimberely Patterson scored the Blazers lone goal in that game.
