ST. JOSEPH, Minn. – The College of Saint Benedict basketball team is looking to rebound from a tough 73-59 loss to Bethel as it heads into its matchup against Saint Mary's Wednesday, Feb. 11. With a record of 10-11 and a conference record of 7-7, the Blazers now have only four games left in the regular season and will be looking to gain some late conference wins. The game will be held at Claire Lynch Hall at 7 p.m.
 
About the Cardinals: Saint Mary's started its season with an eight-game winning streak. From here, the Cardinals followed with a four-game losing streak and have gone 7-2 since. Sitting with a record of 15-6 and a conference record of 9-5, the Cardinals will be looking to take a few more conference wins in their last games of the season.
 
Last Year: Last season, the Blazers fell twice to the Cardinals. In the first game, the Cardinals took a close 67-64 win over the Blazers.  Elena Koch led the Blazers with six points and seven rebounds as Emily Lueck added another five points. In the second games, the Blazers fell by a score of 73-85 as Mattie Lueck finished the night with 21 points and five assists. Earlier this season, the Cardinals held on for a 63-59 win in Winona, Minn.
 
The Storyline: The Blazers have now lost two consecutive games and will be looking to take another conference win and put their record at .500. After falling to the Cardinals on the road earlier in the season by a score of 63-59, the Blazers will be heading home with hopes of getting revenge and gaining some momentum.
 
Who to Watch: Mattie Lueck is leading the Blazers with 14.8 points per game and 7.0 overall rebounds. Abby Miller also adds 8.1 points per game and leads the team with a .818 free throw percentage. Emily Lueck is averaging 7.6 points per game and 2.2 assists.
 
Last Time Out: In their last time out, the Blazers fell to Bethel on the road by a score of 73-59. Mattie Lueck led the offense with 15 points and finished the night with six rebounds and four blocks. Elena Koch led the defense with nine rebounds and also finished with 10 points and Annie Dittberner chipped in with 13 points.
