Wenner put an end to game one in the sixth inning, smashing a three-run walk-off homer to put the Blazers (26-9, 13-7 MIAC) up by eight and end the game.

Starter Emily Engelmeier (South St. Paul, Minn.) allowed just five hits in earning her 15th win on the season, striking out six along the way. She allowed just two hits through four innings, and didn't allow a runner past second base until the sixth.

In game two, the Blazers blew it open with a six-run third, taking a 9-0 lead. Wenner started things off with a homer, while Kim Lidstone (Minnetonka, Minn.) also added a three-run double in the inning.

Lidstone finished the day with a team best four hits, while knocking in five and scoring twice.

Throwing with a lead, CSB starter Rachel Nelson (Lindstrom, Minn.) pitched a perfect fifth and sixth and allowed a harmless single in the seventh to pick up her 11th win on the season, striking out 12 while allowing just six total hits. Nelson went over the 100 strikeout mark on the season with her performance, topping the century mark for the second straight year.

With the two wins, the Blazers went a step further to locking up a MIAC Tournament berth.

Still in fourth place in the conference standings, they will close out the season at home on Tuesday (Apr. 29) hosting Carleton at 3:30 p.m.
