(South St. Paul, Minn.) improved to 14-1 on the season with a win in game one, while Rachel Nelson (Lindstrom, Minn.) allowed just four hits in her game two victory, winning her 10th on the year.

In game one, the Blazers (24-9, 11-7 MIAC) held off an Ole (7-25, 7-15 MIAC) rally in the bottom of the seventh for the win. St. Olaf was down 11-7 to start the inning, but a two-out, three-run homer brought them back within one.

Nelson – who was on in relief of Engelmeier – swiftly struck out the next batter to close out the game and seal up the win.

The Blazers went up 4-2 after the third and never trailed after, going up 10-4 after the top of the sixth before the Oles began to chip away.

The second game was with far less dramatics, as they led from the top of the first on, and effectively put the game away with an eight run fourth.

Now with a 13-2 cushion in her pocket, Nelson worked a perfect fourth and fifth as the Blazers took the five-inning victory.

The Blazer sweep, coupled with a pair of Hamline losses moves CSB into sole possession of fourth place in the MIAC standings with just two series' left. The top four teams at the end of the season advance to the conference tournament.

The Blazers will look to keep the winning streak alive tomorrow, when they square off with St. Kate's in the Irish Dome in Rosemount, Minn. First pitch is set for 2 p.m.
