DE PERE, Wis. – The College of Saint Benedict hockey team fell 4-0 to St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wis., to end a two-game Wisconsin road trip to start the 2014-15 season.

The Green Knights completed the sweep Saturday after a 4-2 victory Friday night. Unlike Friday, when SNC (2-0) scored two power play goals and one short-handed goal, all four goals came with an even playing field Saturday afternoon.

St. Norbert scored the first goal of the game at the 17:51 mark when Myranda Hayes scored off assists from Katie Conlon and Lexi Pyykkonen. The Blazers held off the Green Knights much of the second period until Jillian Kosteck made it a 2-0 game 18:27 into the period.

St. Norbert scored two third-period goals to ice the win. Hayes scored her second goal of the game at 14:24 and Emily Chandler added a goal at the 18:10 mark for the final score.

The Blazers finished the afternoon with 19 shots to St. Norbert's 37. The Green Knights had 11 shots in the first period, eight in the second and 18 more in the third. Senior goalie Jenna Traut made 33 saves for Saint Benedict. Both teams finished the day with five penalties for 10 minutes.

The Blazers return to action Friday, Nov. 7, when they take on St. Kate's in a nonconference game in Princeton, Minn. The puck drops at 7 p.m.
