This Week: The Saint Benedict hockey team will be facing off against the No. 7 ranked Gustavus on Friday (Jan. 31) at 5 p.m. in St. Peter, and will bring the contest home the next day at 2 p.m. in the MAC. The Blazers will be playing hard against the Gusties, who are ranked first in the MIAC, in search for a big upset as the Blazers (4-13-0, 1-9-0 MIAC) currently sit in last place in the MIAC.
Â
About the Gusties: The Gusties lead the MIAC with 20 points this season and sit with a record of 12-3-2 with an undefeated 10-0 conference record. From here, the Gusties went on a six game winning streak followed by two consecutive losses to UW-River Falls and UW-Stevens Point. The Gusties have still yet to lose a game this season to any team outside of the UW schools system.

The Storyline: The Gusties will be coming into this matchup with five game winning streak, which followed their only losing streak this season of two straight losses.
