Collegeville, Minn. – The College of Saint Benedict swimming and diving team finished second in its dual with Minnesota State University Moorhead yesterday (Nov. 15). Saint Benedict finished with a total of 105 points in its first home meet of the season.
 
The Blazers won four events.
 
Leading the Blazers was sophomore Stephanie Bierman, winning three of Saint Benedict's four events. Bierman finished the 200 free in a time a 1:56.88, her second best time of her career. She also took the 50 free with a time of 24.72 and the 100 free at 54.18. Bierman's 100 free time was the second best of her career.
 
Also finishing first for Saint Benedict was junior Laura Peterson. Peterson finished the 200 fly with a time of 2:20.65.
 
Saint Benedict returns to action at 6:00 pm on Nov. 22 when they host St. Catherine and Concordia in Collegeville, Minn.
