BOX SCORE
The Blazers (5-13-3 overall, 3-8-3 MIAC) traveled to Northfield, MN to take on the St. Olaf Oles (7-10-4 overall, 7-5-2 MIAC) after a 2-1 victory at home, but a tough night on defense would end the hopes of a sweep as the Oles won 3-1.
The night started out rough with the Blazers going down a goal as Katie Moeller scored for the Oles late in the first period. However, sophomore defender
Christine Brodersen – who scored the game winning goal in the previous match up against St. Olaf – was able to tie it all up early in the second with a pass from senior captain
Kerri Graske. Unfortunately, this ended up being the Blazers' only goal of the night, along with allowing two more goals from the Oles to finish the game with a loss 3-1.
The Blazers will take on the Royals in their next game at home on February 17 at 7:30 p.m. Bethel is coming off of a win and a tie against Augsburg this weekend.
