The College of Saint Benedict basketball team (19-6 overall, 16-6 MIAC) was defeated by the University of St. Thomas 80-47 in the final MIAC regular season game.

The Blazers were led by senior Amy Stifter and Laura Canton who each scored eight points.

CSB takes the third seed in the MIAC Playoff Tournament, which begins next week as the Blazers host Macalester in the MIAC Quarterfinals on Tue., Feb. 22 at 7:30 p.m. in Claire Lynch Hall.
