The CSB softball team split a pair of games on Friday at the Rebel Spring Games in Kissimmee, Florida. The Blazers (2-8 overall, 0-0 MIAC) opened the day with a 4-1 loss to Misericordia University but managed to bounce back and defeat Eastern University 3-2.

In the loss against Misericordia, CSB battled but again found themselves on the losing end. It was the Blazers fifth straight loss by three or less runs. However, the Blazers regrouped and came away with a one run victory over Eastern. Earlier in the week, Eastern defeated the Blazers 4-3.

The Blazers will play their last two games tomorrow at the Rebel Spring Games. CSB faces Husson College at 3 pm followed by a matchup with Wittenberg University at 5 pm.
