Allyson Nielsen had a career week on the ice last week, leading Blazer hockey past St. Kate's on Friday to had the Wildcats thier first conference loss. Nielsen scored twice in the Blazers 3-0 shutout win, charting her first career two-goal game. Then just a day later, she added another to give her three points on three goal over the week. The goal tied the Blazers and Wildcats at 2-2, before St. Kate's eventually went on to win 4-2.

On the season, Neilson is tied for the team lead with four goals, and second in points with five.
