Lexi Alm closed the season in grand fashion, in leading the Blazer softball team at the MIAC Tournament.
The junior outfielder batted .500 over the two games, going 3-for-6, which included a home run and a double, while driving in four runs and scoring three times. She also gained a pair of walks, while playing error free in center field.
She opened the scoring in the Blazers first tournament game with a two-run homer, giving them an early 2-0 lead that they would never lose. Later in the same game she drove in another insurance run, also helping the Blazers to a season high 14 hits in their 8-5 win over Augsburg.
In the following game – before Bethel scored the 7-5 comeback win – Alm’s fifth inning single drove home the tying run, before eventually coming around to score the go ahead run as the Blazers took a 5-4 lead.
