Sam Imholte broke her own school record in the discus last week.
The junior posted a 39.14-meter throw at the Hamline Twilight on Apr. 24, breaking by just centimeter her old record of 39.13 which she set just last season. The mark now stands as the fifth best in the MIAC.
Later in the meet she added another personal best, with her 42.86-meter in the hammer throw.
She then closed the week at the Macalester Invite with another PR in the hammer, placing third with her 44.42-meter, losing only to two throwers from the University of Minnesota. She was also third in the shot put at Macalester with a season best 12.52-meter, again falling only to two U of M competitors.
Finally, in the javelin, she was second with a season best 33.43-meter.
